Taking On Too Much?

Ok so does anyone else around here think that Obama is taking on way too much during his first one hundred days in office. Trying to pass this freakishly huge budget that doesnt matter which way you cut it will make America more in debt than we already are.

Lets take a look for a moment what this budget includes. If we look at this budget he starts out with blaming President Bush for creating these problems such as the Housing Market downfalll, the stock market failing, the recession, the unemployment rate, education downfall, healthcare downfall, and fiscal irresponsibility. If you ask me, it is not President Bush's fault. President Bush was doing just fine until the Amercan people decided to vote in a democratic Congress and that is when the trouble started. I mean especially the last part, President Obama is spending more than any other president before him combined.

Lets see what President Obama wants to do during his first term as president...
  1. $$$Create immediate relief through stimulius'
  2. $$$Increase food staff benifits for 30 million American's
  3. Reform assest testing
  4. $$$Extend, expand and reform unemployment benifets
  5. Create jobs
  6. $$$Invest in our nations roads and bridges
  7. $$$Improve and modernize air traffic control
  8. $$$ Invest in Sciences
  9. $$$ Invest in clean and safe drinking water
  10. $$$ Create a clean energy economy
  11. $$$Prepare and reward effective teacher
  12. $$$ Stabalize the student loan programs
  13. $$$ Increase support for federally funded charter schools
  14. $$$ Expand Pell Grants
  15. $$$ Computerize all Health Care Records
  16. $$$ Increasing Health Care coverage for children
  17. $$$ Tranforming and Modernizing American Health Care System
  18. $$$ Financing Health Care reform
  19. $$$ Increase funding for department of defense ($20.4 billion, or 4 percent, from the 2009 enacted level of $513.3 billion excluding funding in the recovery Act)
  20. $$$ Double foreign aid (That is why the Administration is committed to placing the Nation on a path to double foreign assistance to $50 billion)
  21. Expand the size of foreign service
Now lets see how much money is being spent on what...
  • *$31.14 billion on Agriculture Department
  • $1,335 million + an additional $4.7 billion on Commerce Department
  • $533.7 billion on Defense Department
  • 1,752.1 billion on health reform
These things are just the tip of the iceberg. People we need to wake up and realize what we are doing here. Allowing are president to sit there right in front of us and say he is the one that will get Americans out of debt in 5 yrs. How can he do this if he is spending so much money on things that we dont need right now. Expecially when we are going through a time of economic hardships. Ladies and gentlemen listen to me when I say nothing in America will get better unless we do something about it. That something is protest, execize the amedment that has been given to us by the constitution. Maybe this is something we have lost as Americans because we are too damn stupid to realize when someone is lying to us.

The chart that I have here shows us what the deficit has been and what it will be if we allow are govermental elected officials in Washington sign this law.
