Economic Down Fall

It's been a while since my last blog and I thought I would weigh in on some of the things that are going on in our country right now.

President elect Obama says that he will make this country right again and save us from this downward spiral that we are going through. Who knows how long this may take though. It may take years to undo what the Democrates have done to this country, and now we have a Democrate in the White House.

Ladies and Gentlemen before you go and call me a racist let me just tell you that I dont think Obama is the right person to lead this country because he doesnt have the experience. I hope that he proves me to be wrong but until that happens I will stick by what I am saying in all of my blogs.

As always remember if you would like to say anything to me let me know.

Thanks,
Doug R.

On Obamas win.

Ok, what you are about to read is a note that a friend of mine sent to me. I did recieve her permission. Her name will just be known as LH so that you dont freak out on her if you ever see her. Here it is...

(Caution: This note contains some rash language, and may be very conterversial.)

Since my vote didn't count for much, except for a vote not given to our new president, I'm still going to let my voice be heard.First of all, let me say that this is really a cool thing to happen in history. I, honest to God, wish that I could have been a part of putting a black man in the white house. However, I don't think that this one is going to do any good for the country, and there are many reasons that I could not vote for him.Our country needs stability while everything around us is failiing and crashing. Yes, we do need change but we also need someone that's going to hold on to some of the foundation of this country that has been doing pretty damn good except for most recently. Obviously our founding fathers did something right to get us this far. One person I know, who will remain nameless, voted for Obama because she said "I figured he was going to win anyways." No substantial reason, just because he was favored. Another person flat out told me that they were voting for him because he's (half) black. Like I said before, I have absolutely no problem with people voting for Obama, if they can actually stand up and give me a fucking reason. But most of the people I've talked to don't really have much of a reason as to WHY they voted for him. They either voted for him simply because they jumped on the bandwagon or because they want to see an african american as president. I'm sorry for speaking the truth. And if you want to dare call me a racist, or anyone else who doesn't support Obama, you can fuck off right now. Obama in one debate, when asked about an oppenent, answered "he was just acting like a typical white man."................. Do you know what would have happened if John McCain would have said someone was "acting like a typical black man"????????????????Yeah let's honestly see what happens when this politician takes office since he's sooooo "for the lower and middle class." That's funny. I can't see Obama in his suit with his briefcase going into the inner city to help the lower class. People are more interested in creating history than in actually voting for a candidate that they see fit. Obama definitely has the celeb factor. Let's see how far that gets him. He has never even shown a legal birth certificate. That would keep him from joining the military or the FBI. And you just put him in charge of the country. Congrats. If we find out months or years from now that he wasn't even born here, I'm going to laugh in the faces of the people who fucked over our country. We're supposed to be the generation that changes the world and instead of fighting for our beliefs we're about to put our hope into someone else who claims they'll do it for us? Fuck that.I honestly hope that our new president can prove me wrong, but until then I stand by what I believe unlike the sheeple that follow Obama because they need to feel like they're a part of everything historical. Regardless of who's in office, I really sincerely hope that they can help fix this country. I don't think Barack will do it.

The Obama 30 Min. Infomercial?

Ok, this makes me so angry. Obama takes up 30 min of my time of the television to do an infomerical on 4 of the major networks. The money it cost to do this was close to a million dollars per network. That money that Obama spent could have been spent a lot better. Maybe hungry people could have been helped with that money not spending it on an infomerical.

I dont know know about anybody else but if you didnt know this is the most money that a person has spent in any election ever. WOW! If you ask me Obama is trying way too hard to be the next president. Truth be told I dont want him to be president.I want John McCain who doesnt relly on all that money. He relies on his experience and to me I think that should be enough.

Offending?

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am sorry if I have offended anyone with what I say in my blog but I feel that what I have to say is the truth. All I want to ask is when did the truth become offensive? I have recieved a few emails from people saying that I have offended them with what I put on my blog, that is the reason why this blog is being written now.

Like I have mentioned above it was never my intent to offend anyone with what I say on my blog but if you dont like what I have to say then either (A) deal with it, or (B) dont read it. Please keep your comments coming to me. I always like to here about your reactions to what I write.

God Not a Democrat or Republican! We Wish He Was Though!!!

Ok, so I recieved an email the other day from a very good friend of mine and well I guess he was right when he said that God isnt really a democrat or republican. (I wish He was a Republican though because that would make my life so much easier but he's not.) I think we too often here in America feel like God should be a political figure and is on whatever political side that we are on. The truth of the matter is, is that God fights for everyone.

I know what most of you are probably saying that I am crazy or something like that, but It's true. God loves all of his creation and wether you are a Republican or Democrat God loves you. From this example we need to remember not to be so fast to judge someone based on there political views. Remember ladies and gentlemen you dont have to like the view they stand for but you do have to love the person.

An Endorsement

I know this doesnt mean too much but the Riccio Spot officially endorces John McCain and Sara Palin for President and Vice President of the United States

Ten Commandments

Ok so its really making me mad this whole conterversy of seperation of church and state. When our founding fathers came up with this whole thing of seperation of church and state they meant something totally different from what people use it as now. What they meant was the government would not get involved with religious affairs. Ok, so not allowing God in schools is no where near to this original meaning. It just gets me so mad that people mainly our politians take something that was meant to be one way and turning it around to hurt the christian groups. Our country was founded on Christian ideals so I think that we need to get back to the basics and run this country the way that our founding fathers did.
Ladies and Gentlemen, maybe thats whats wrong with this country. We have lost our moral belief system and its time to teach our students in schools about the ten commandments and the things that are helpful to growing men and women that some day will be running our country.
If you dont like what I have to say I really dont care. Leave me a comment and I will get back with you maybe by posting another blog about your opinion. I really do value all of your opinion but if Christianity or religion of any kind was good enough for our founding fathers then ladies and gentlemen wake up and smell the coffee its good enough for us here in 2008 when things are going down the crapper.

All Eyes On Celebraties???

Ok, I dont know why we have to be so damn interested in celebraties? If we look at it they have almost become like a g0d to us. Is it just me or is this hole hype alittle over the top? I mean yes I do feel sorry for Jennifer Huddsons family but if a regular person had this same happening in there life nobody would be making this big a deal over it. If you ask me they are overpaid snobs who need to be taken down a peg. Ok, oprah says she works for the comman good of all people but does she really? She is making millions of dollars and not even a half of that goes to people less fortunate. Hell I am less fortunate why doesnt she give some of her billions of dollars to me I could sure use it. Ladies and Gentlemen the bottle line of the matter is that Celebs are over paid. There are people out there who do ten times more important things like teachers, firemen and police officers. They are the ones that need to be getting the big bucks not celebs and proffesional athletes.

OK IF YOU DONT VOTE PLEASE DONT COMPLAIN

Ok, this really gets me so angry. People who dont vote go around complaining that whomever is the president at the time is doing a crappy job. Well ladies and gentlemen I dont care if that person is doing a bad job at least I had the time and will to go out and vote for the person who I thought would make the best president.

As most of you know we have a huge presidential debate coming up in just a few short weeks. If you have read some of my other blogs you might know who I am already voting for. I am not saying that you have to vote with me but what I am saying is that if you want one of the two to win please go out there and support that person. If you dont and the person you didnt support happens to win dont complain. I hate those people who complain and dont do anything about it. Remember November 4rth is the day so go out and vote for you candidate. If not please dont complain to me.

President Info

This is an excerpt that my step sister sent me:

Excerpt:
Barack Hussein Obama, wants to be our President? You have GOT to be kidding! Wake up America ! Obama even says if he wins the election, he will be sworn in on the Quran---not a Bible!
Footnote: He was sworn in on the Quran for his current office and he refuses to pledge allegiance to the United States or put his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played!

Ok now you got to be kidding me. A man that will not pledge allegiance to his nation wants to be our president. You got to be kidding me. A man that will not stand up and put his hand over his heart while are great national anthem is being played. Come on ladies and gentlemen wake up and realize who is better suited to be president. Someone who served this country gladly and almost died for it.

Let me know what you think.

Why Do We Blame Bush?

Ok, so I got an email the other day from a friend of mine and it was talking about all the reasons why we shouldnt blame Bush for this economic down fall we are in. Ok lets look at the facts, for the past 7.5 years President Bush has been in office and the economy has been doing Just Fine. In 2006 people wanted change so they swore in a Democrate Congress since then our economy has been going down hill. Ladies and Gentlemen this should tell us that Democrate leadership is what is killing this country. Please dont listen to the retoric of the people telling you that its Bushs fault. If we must blame someone lets blame the Democrate Party.
